Undergraduate Studies

The objective of this cycle is to train bridge officers for merchant ships. This training will also allow them to integrate universities, national and international higher institutions to pursue a university degree in the LMD system. These officers are responsible for the direct conduct, management and operation of ships as well as their safety, security and those of their crew and the cargoes.

FUNCTIONS HELD ON BOARD

  • The primary vocation of ISEM is to train future officers of the Merchant Marine. This training opens a broad professional horizon to students;
  • Lieutenant: He ensures the functions of supervision of the execution personnel on deck. He assists the second captain in the organization of life on board, shifts and commercial operations.
